PT&T Corp. (PSE:PTT) proudly announces the successful completion of the supply, delivery, and installation of structured cabling for the BSWM Building project, a strategic initiative undertaken for the DA-Bureau of Soils and Water Management (DA-BSWM).

In response to the evolving landscape of modern work environments and as part of their return-to-office initiatives, BSWM identified the need for an enhanced data communication and interconnectivity infrastructure at its Head Office in Quezon City. The project aimed to reinforce the infrastructure, facilitating efficient operations, and bolstering the bureau’s mandate in advancing national development.

PT&T, as the technology partner for this critical initiative, addressed BSWM’s requirements by upgrading their network infrastructure with state-of-the-art technologies from CISCO, LinkSys, and KStar. The implementation involved the deployment of the latest core network technologies, kilometers of CAT6 cable throughout the building for improved network performance, and the integration of a VOIP cloud-based phone system to enhance internal communication and boost overall employee productivity.

BSWM Assistant Director, Ms. Denise A. Solano, said “The enhanced infrastructure provided by PT&T aligns with our vision for a technologically advanced workspace, enabling BSWM to fulfill its mandate more efficiently and effectively.”

Acknowledging this significant collaboration, PT&T President and CEO, Mr. James G. Velasquez, expressed, “It is a great honor for us to work alongside BSWM in enhancing their technological capabilities. This project underscores our commitment to delivering innovative solutions that empower government organizations to thrive in the digital era.”

This strategic collaboration positions BSWM as a trailblazer among government agencies, embracing a technologically advanced workspace to effectively counter evolving cybersecurity challenges. The seamless project completion serves as a testament to PT&T’s relentless pursuit to pioneering technological advancements, steering the nation toward continuous progress.
