Mr. James G. Velasquez, Filipino, 59, currently serves as Chairman of the Board of PT&T Corp., bringing with him over 35 years of leadership experience in information technology, telecommunications, and cybersecurity. He is also the Co-Founder, President, and CEO of SecureLink Networks Inc., a joint venture between PT&T and Netlinkz of Australia. Additionally, he sits on the boards of SecureLink Networks, MRC Allied, DRI Philippines, and The Philippine Red Cross – Rizal Chapter. He is also an active member of the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) and the British Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (BCCP).
From 2018 to 2025, during his tenure as President and CEO of PT&T, Mr. Velasquez led the company’s successful turnaround—marked by significant improvements in operational efficiency, subscriber growth, and financial performance. Under his leadership, PT&T has achieved a compound annual revenue growth rate (CAGR) of over 30%, driven by a sharp focus on customer-centricity, expansion of IT services, and strategic investments. The company has also maintained exceptional customer experience metrics, with a Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) rating above 90% and a Net Promoter Score (NPS) exceeding 80%. Beyond financial growth, PT&T has secured ISO certifications for Quality Management (QMS) and Information Security (ISMS), reinforcing its commitment to operational excellence and cybersecurity. His leadership has also guided PT&T through a successful rehabilitation program, solidifying its position in the highly competitive telecommunications industry.

Before joining PT&T, Mr. Velasquez spent 30 years at IBM, where he held key leadership roles across the Philippines, ASEAN, and Asia Pacific. As President and Country General Manager of IBM Philippines, he led the company’s domestic and global operations, driving strong market growth. He also served as Chairman of IBM Philippines and its subsidiaries, overseeing strategic initiatives in IT business, infrastructure management, and regional sales.
Mr. Velasquez has served as a Trustee of the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), Board Member of the Management Association of the Philippines, Director of Rappler Inc., Director of Asia Pacific College, and Trustee of the UST Engineering Alumni Association. Mr. Velasquez earned his Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Santo Tomas.
Mr. Salvador “Buddy” Zamora II, Filipino, 78, served as Chairman of PT&T Corp. from August 2017 to September 2021 and has been a Director since August 2017. He is a prominent figure in Philippine business, known for his extensive contributions to the mining, energy, agriculture, and real estate sectors.
He currently serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Tranzen Group Inc., a Filipino-owned holding company engaged in renewable energy, agro-industries, and resort development.
Mr. Zamora made his mark in the 1970s by establishing Nickel Asia Corporation, now the country’s largest producer of lateritic nickel ore and one of the largest globally. He served as President and CEO of Nickel Asia Corporation from 2006 to 2009 and previously led its key operations at Hinatuan Mining Corporation, Taganito Mining Corporation, and Cagdianao Mining Corporation.
In 2008, he established Tranzen Group Inc. with the vision of building a diversified, future-ready conglomerate. Under his leadership, the Group partnered with Carbon Assets Fund of the Cayman Islands to build the Philippines’ first methane production plant in Rizal. Tranzen Group continues to expand with projects in hydropower generation and mining ventures, including interests in Dinagat Island.
Mr. Zamora also chairs several major corporations, including: Philippine Phosphate Fertilizer Corporation, Bacavalley Energy, Inc., One Pacstar Realty Corporation, Two Pactstar Realty Corporation, Agusan Power Corporation, Philphos Trading Inc., Lear Aero Ltd., Inc., Libjo Mining Corporation, and Lake Mainit Hydro Holdings Corporation.
Mr. Zamora holds a Bachelor’s degree from Ateneo de Manila University and a Master of Business Administration from New York University in the United States.
Ms. Ma. Cristina Z. Borra, Filipino, 50, has been serving as a Director of PT&T Corp. since September 2020. She brings with her over 24 years of academic and research experience across both local and international institutions.
She began her career in 1996 as a part-time Executive Assistant at Hinatuan International Inc. while completing her undergraduate degree. From 1998 to 2000, she worked as a Researcher for the Zamora Research Group, focusing on both local and international political and institutional issues.
Ms. Borra’s teaching career spans over two decades. From 2000 to 2015, she taught Literature and English at the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P), handling courses across undergraduate and graduate levels. She later joined Manresa School in 2015 as a full-time Senior High School English teacher, delivering subjects such as Oral Communication, English for Academic and Professional Purposes, and Research in Daily Life. In 2020, she served as an online instructor for UA&P’s Junior Academic Assistance Program under WordPrime Reading Lab, mentoring incoming senior high school students in academic essay writing.
Ms. Borra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from the Center for Research and Communication – College of Arts and Sciences (now UA&P) and a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from New York University under the Draper Interdisciplinary Program. She has also pursued doctoral studies in Comparative Literature at the University of the Philippines – Diliman.
Mr. Bryan Joseph P. Santiago, Filipino, 51, has been serving as a Director of PT&T Corp. since November 2022. He currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Telectronic Systems, Inc. (TSI). He has been a Director of TSI since 2012 and was appointed President & CEO in 2019, bringing with him over two decades of experience in the telecommunications industry.
He began his career in telecom in 1996 with PWI and PT&T—then sister companies under the same corporate group. He also served as a Director of PT&T from 2012 to 2017. In addition to his current executive leadership role at TSI, Mr. Santiago concurrently serves as a Director of various TSI affiliate companies under the TSI Group of Companies.
Mr. Santiago holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley, which he completed in 1996.
Mr. Richard Alan P. Santiago, Filipino, 56, has been serving as a Director of PT&T Corp. since November 2022. He currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Tesco Services, Inc. (TESCO). He has been actively involved in the telecommunications industry since 1989, holding various operational roles across several organizations. He began his career with TESCO’s parent holding company, Telectronic Systems, Inc. (TSI), and has since contributed to affiliated companies including PT&T, RETELCOM, and other entities under the TSI Group of Companies.
In addition to his executive role at TESCO, Mr. Santiago serves as a Director of TSI, RETELCOM, TIMCO, and other affiliated businesses such as GVM Private Security, Inc. and El Jovir Realty Development Corp.
Mr. Santiago earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1989.
Ms. Kristine B. Cuenca, Filipino, 38, has been serving as a Director of PT&T Corp. since September 2024 and was appointed Treasurer of the company in April 2025. She brings a strategic blend of digital systems expertise and financial oversight to the Board.
Since 2019, Ms. Cuenca has also held the position of IT Director at 5G Security Inc., where she leads the company’s digital transformation initiatives and oversees core technology operations. Her industry background spans digital systems management, marketing technology, and organizational efficiency.
Ms. Cuenca earned her degree in Advertising and Public Relations from Universidad de Navarra in 2010 and later obtained a Digital Marketing Certificate from General Assembly in New York in 2016.
Mr. Roberto B. Ortiz, Filipino, 72, served as Chairman of PT&T Corp. from September 2021 to April 2025 and has been an Independent Director since July 2018. With over 27 years of experience in finance, corporate governance, and investment banking, Mr. Ortiz has played a key role in shaping the financial and strategic direction of the organizations he has served.
He began his career at Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) from 1987 to 1994. He later served as Vice President for Finance at Consolidated Industrial Gases Inc. from 1994 to 2003. From 2003 to 2009, he was Chief Finance Officer of All Asian Countertrade Inc. and its subsidiaries—Sweet Crystals Integrated Sugar Mill Corporation and Basecom Inc.
Since 2010, Mr. Ortiz has been serving as Director and Chief Finance Officer of Total Nutrition Corporation. He is also currently the Director and CFO of Premiere Horizon Alliance Corporation (PHA), formerly Premiere Entertainment Philippines Inc. Additionally, he serves as Chairman of the Board of Goshen Land Capital Inc., a prominent real estate developer in Baguio and Benguet. With his deep financial expertise, Mr. Ortiz is also a trusted advisor to various companies in the fintech and stock investment sectors.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering from Ateneo de Manila University in 1973.
Mr. Serafin C. Ledesma, Jr., Filipino, 83, has been serving as an Independent Director of PT&T Corp. since July 2018. Based in Davao City, he brings a wealth of experience in telecommunications, media, and civic engagement, with a distinguished career that spans over four decades.
Mr. Ledesma held several leadership roles in the telecommunications industry, including his tenure as Branch Manager of Telefast Communications (1976–1978), Area Manager of PT&T (1978–1982), and Vice President for Mindanao at PT&T (1982–2001). He also co-chaired the Technical Working Group for the Interconnection of Telecommunications Networks in Mindanao from 1986 to 2001, playing a key role in advancing telecom infrastructure in the region.
His media background includes serving as Station Manager, News Director, and Program Director for various radio stations and news agencies in Mindanao. Today, he remains active in journalism as a columnist and opinion writer for SunStar Davao and the Philippine News Agency.
In addition to his corporate and media roles, Mr. Ledesma is a long-time civic leader. He is a former President of the Davao Integrated Press Club (1974–1977), Media Dabaw (1978–1980), and the Rotary Club of Davao (1997–1998). He also served as a Director of the Davao City Water District from 2014 to 2016.
Mr. Ledesma earned his Bachelor of Science in Natural Science from Mindanao Colleges (now University of Mindanao) in 1964.
Mr. Bienvenido S. Santos, Filipino, 67, has been serving as an Independent Director of PT&T Corp. since June 2019. He brings with him decades of extensive experience in business leadership, holding key positions across a wide range of industries. He currently serves as Chairman of several corporations, including BC Net, Asian Carmakers Corporation, GND Holdings, and Beebeelee. He is also the Vice Chairman of Sta. Rosa Motor Works, Inc., Eurobrands Distributor Inc., Columbian Motors Corporation, Columbian Manufacturing Corporation, and Subic Air, Inc.
In addition to these roles, Mr. Santos is a Director and President of various other companies engaged in diverse sectors within the Philippines, demonstrating his broad influence and leadership in the business community.
Mr. Santos earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Management Engineering from Ateneo de Manila University.
Mr. Carlos Andres V. Reyes, Filipino, 49, has been serving as an Independent Director of PT&T Corp. since September 2020. He currently holds the position of Assistant Vice President for Metro Manila Sales at Bluefire LPG Marketing, where he oversees strategic sales operations and market expansion initiatives in the region.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, major in Marketing Management, from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.
Elmer B. Serrano, Filipino, 57, has been serving as an Independent Director of PT&T Corp. since November 2022. He is a seasoned legal practitioner with extensive expertise in corporate law and currently serves as the Managing Partner of Serrano Law. Atty. Serrano also holds key corporate governance roles as the Corporate Secretary of several leading corporations, including SM Investments Corporation, SM Prime Holdings, Inc., Premium Leisure Corp., Atlas Consolidated Mining and Development Corporation, and various subsidiaries of BDO Unibank, Inc.
Mr. Serrano is a Certified Associate Treasury Professional and was among the top graduates of the Trust Institute of the Philippines in 2001. He holds both a Juris Doctor degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Management from the Ateneo de Manila University.
Mr. Angel S. Mercado has been serving as Acting President of PT&T Corp. since April 2025 and as Senior Vice President – Chief Revenue Officer since August 2024. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of SecureLink Networks Inc., where he continues to drive innovation in telecommunications and digital infrastructure.
A seasoned commercial executive, Mr. Mercado brings over 30 years of leadership experience, including 25 years in the telecommunications sector. His career spans key senior roles across telecom and fintech industries, consistently delivering growth, operational efficiency, and strategic transformation.
Among his most notable achievements is leading the commercial launch of DITO Telecommunity, where he established and managed a comprehensive Sales Department composed of eight functional groups, five sales channels, and 24 retail stores. Under his leadership, DITO grew its subscriber base to 15 million and generated over Php17 billion in revenues by 2022. He also founded the DITO School of Commerce and implemented scalable frameworks that expanded the company’s national distribution network.
Prior to DITO, Mr. Mercado served as President and COO of Philstocks Financial Corp. and Weepay Payment Processing Corp., where he spearheaded the digital transformation of one of the country’s top-performing online trading platforms and oversaw payment services for more than 25,000 merchants. His earlier experience includes a decade at Smart Communications, culminating as Vice President for Consumer Sales, where he led a 1,400-person team and executed the nationwide SIM SWAP campaign. He also held senior commercial posts in Indonesia with PT Smartfren Communications, integrating telecommunications strategies into retail and distribution models.
Mr. Mercado completed the Management Development Program at the Asian Institute of Management and has pursued advanced courses in Finance and General Management at the Ateneo de Manila University and the University of Asia and the Pacific.
Mr. Patrick Vincent “Ricky” Peña has been serving as Executive Vice President – Chief Operating Officer of PT&T Corp. since August 2024. Prior to this role, he held various key positions within the company, including Senior Vice President and Head of the Corporate Affairs Group, and General Manager for Fixed Broadband.
A seasoned telecommunications executive with over 28 years of experience, Mr. Peña brings extensive leadership expertise in digital communications, sales, marketing, business development, and innovation.
His telecom journey began at Smart Communications, where he led critical initiatives during the industry’s transition from analog to GSM technology. He later joined startup Meridian Telekoms, where he pioneered the wireless broadband category in the Philippines—a venture that ultimately became the Smart Broadband business following its acquisition by Smart. At Digitel Mobile Philippines (Sun Cellular), Mr. Peña helped position the company as the market leader in postpaid and spearheaded the launch of Sun Broadband. As Senior Vice President, he also championed business development and strategic technology partnerships.
After the Digitel-PLDT merger, he joined Voyager Innovations, driving internet-based communication solutions across the PLDT Group. In 2018, Mr. Peña joined PT&T as General Manager, leading the growth of the Connectivity business. From 2022 to 2024, he steered the Corporate Affairs Group, focusing on investor relations, fundraising, partnerships, and governance reforms.
In his current role, he is responsible for driving operational excellence, strengthening customer experience, and enhancing efficiency across PT&T’s core business areas.
Mr. Peña is an active member of the Management Association of the Philippines, a past President of the UP Industrial Engineering Alumni Association, and a Trustee of the UP Engineering R&D Foundation, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Philippines – Diliman.
Ms. Purisima Concepcion “Recie” D.S. Roxas has been serving as PT&T Corp.’s Senior Vice President – Chief People & Culture Officer since July 2018. With over two decades of leadership experience across various industries, she brings deep expertise in talent development, organizational transformation, and strategic human capital management.
Since joining PT&T, Ms. Roxas has spearheaded the People & Culture Transformation Roadmap, aligning it with the company’s renewed Mission, Vision, and Values. Under her leadership, PT&T has grown from a workforce of 95 in 2018 to 260 employees, while reducing attrition from 31% to 19% by 2022. Her initiatives have included over 700 launched learning courses and more than 20,000 training hours, which earned PT&T the 2021 Learning & Development Organization of the Year award (Private Sector) from the Philippine Society for Talent Development. She also led PT&T’s successful ISO certifications for Quality Management (QMS) and Information Security (ISMS).
Prior to PT&T, Ms. Roxas held key HR roles at Smart Communications, where she helped expand the workforce from 250 to 5,000, and at Ingram Micro, where she built the HR function from the ground up, contributing to its recognition as the Fastest-Growing BPO Company of the Year in 2012. Her earlier experience includes consulting work in SAP HR implementations with BayanTrade and leadership in various HR roles at Conduit Global and other firms.
Ms. Roxas earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Santo Tomas. She is a member of the Philippine Society for Talent Development and the People Management Association of the Philippines.
Mr. Jeffrey “Jep” Julian has been serving as PT&T Corp.’s Vice President – Chief Technical Officer since June 2019. He is a seasoned telecommunications professional with over 24 years of industry experience across local and international markets. Since joining PT&T in 2019, he has led the company’s technical operations with a focus on driving innovation, efficiency, and end-to-end project delivery.
His extensive background includes leadership roles such as Project Management Office Head, Project Director, Senior Telecom Consultant, and National Project Head for global telecom giants including Huawei, Ericsson, Fiberhome, Nextel, Sun Cellular, and Dimension Data. He has also delivered critical infrastructure projects for clients such as Afghan Telecom, Ethiopian Telecommunications Corporation, and the Saudi Telecom Company.
Mr. Julian is known for his out-of-the-box thinking and ability to implement large-scale telecom systems with precision. He has spearheaded multiple high-impact projects such as the PLDT FIBERGEN Nationwide Project, Smart Communications’ 2G/3G Modernization, SMC/BellTel IP Network Rollouts, and network optimization initiatives in the Middle East and Africa.
Mr. Julian earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Santo Tomas.
Mr. Anthony Gil G. Jose has been serving as PT&T Corp.’s Vice President – IT Sales since May 2022. A seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in IT services, strategic sales, and business development, he plays a key role in expanding PT&T’s enterprise footprint. His expertise spans revenue growth, cost optimization, client acquisition, and high-value contract negotiations, making him instrumental in positioning PT&T as a trusted IT solutions provider across various industries, including telecommunications, finance, retail, healthcare, media, education, and government.
Further strengthening his leadership in the industry, Mr. Jose also serves as Vice President for Sales at SecureLink Networks Inc., where he leverages his extensive expertise in IT solutions, cybersecurity, and enterprise infrastructure to drive sales growth and market expansion. His role focuses on enhancing customer engagement, forging strategic partnerships, and boosting revenue performance through innovative security solutions.
Before joining PT&T and SecureLink, Mr. Jose held key executive roles, including Vice President at Strategic Synergy Inc., where he led business development, sales, and customer acquisition initiatives. His leadership was pivotal in expanding the company’s footprint across Manila and North Luzon, forming alliances with top IT distributors and global technology partners. As Director for New Business at Eastern Telecommunications Philippines, Inc., he spearheaded product innovation and market expansion strategies, driving consistent revenue and profit growth. He also served as Vice President & General Manager at Scala Business Solutions Inc. and Vice President at Systems Standards Inc., where he successfully implemented go-to-market strategies, optimized financial structures, and strengthened sales team performance.
With a strong background in IT infrastructure, cyber forensics, cloud computing, and managed security operations, Mr. Jose has led breakthrough projects, including the first Nutanix on IBM Power Server installation in the Philippines, as well as pioneering managed services, cloud, and digital transformation solutions in various industries. His ability to develop strategic partnerships, execute high-impact business plans, and drive corporate growth has earned him recognition as a top leader in the IT sector.
Mr. Jose holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, majoring in Information Technology, from De La Salle University.
Mr. Ray Anthony C. Chan has been serving as PT&T Corp.’s Assistant Vice President – Finance, Logistics & Administration Head since December 2024. He is a seasoned finance professional and Certified Public Accountant with over eight years of experience in finance, accounting, and audit across publicly listed and capital-intensive industries.
With strong credentials in both financial reporting and strategic advisory, he has established a solid track record in enhancing internal controls, driving process improvement, and leading compliance initiatives in highly regulated environments.
Prior to joining PT&T, Mr. Chan held various finance roles at Manila Water Co., Inc., including Accounts Payable Head and Project Accounting and Controllership Head. He led key initiatives in accounts payable, capital expenditures and regulatory compliance. He began his career as an auditor at SGV & Co., handling audit engagements for clients in the banking and capital markets sector.
Mr. Chan holds a Master of Science in Finance from the University of the Philippines and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Santo Tomas.
Atty. Kenneth Joey H. Maceren has been serving as PT&T Corp.’s Assistant Vice President – Corporate Affairs Group Head since August 2024. He is also the Corporate Secretary of PT&T Corp. since February 2018, while concurrently acting as in-house counsel for SecureLink Networks Inc., the joint venture between PT&T and Netlinkz Ltd. of Australia. He is a seasoned lawyer with over 18 years of combined experience in litigation and corporate law.
He began his legal career at two Makati-based law firms, where he practiced corporate law—handling incorporations, restructurings, compliance, due diligence, and corporate housekeeping—as well as litigation, including criminal, civil, labor, and administrative cases. His litigation expertise extends to representing clients before the Bureau of Immigration, Department of Labor and Employment, and National Labor Relations Commission, and includes election law cases before the Commission on Elections and House of Representatives Electoral Tribunal.
Transitioning to corporate legal work, he has since held legal positions at publicly listed companies, including Megawide Construction Corporation and MRC Allied, Inc. At PT&T and SecureLink, he manages regulatory and compliance functions with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), and National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), and represents the companies in procurement and legal proceedings—including a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) engagement with the Department of Education.
Atty. Maceren earned his Bachelor of Laws from San Beda University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Management from the University of Santo Tomas. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2007 and is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
Ms. Jhonna P. Cañeja has been serving as PT&T Corp.’s Assistant Vice President – Investor Relations and Corporate Communications Head since April 2025. Since joining PT&T in 2019, she has been instrumental in shaping the company’s investor relations and corporate communications strategy. Her work spans reputation management, public disclosures, crisis communication, stakeholder engagement, and strategic capital markets planning—especially as PT&T prepares for relisting.
With over a decade of experience in investor relations, strategy, sustainability, and communications, Ms. Cañeja brings a strong foundation in both corporate discipline and high-stakes fundraising initiatives. Prior to PT&T, she served as Investor Relations Manager at Manila Water Co., Inc., where she led the development of award-winning Annual and Sustainability Reports, coordinated investor briefings and stockholder meetings, and maintained regular engagement with analysts and fund managers. She also held the role of Dealer and Market Analyst for the company, managing a billion-peso cash portfolio and optimizing investment performance.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Cañeja held key roles as Business Development Executive at Travellers International Hotel Group, Inc. (Resorts World Manila) and as Senior Research Associate at Integreon Managed Solutions, where she gained valuable experience in business development, corporate and industry research, and knowledge-based services.
Ms. Cañeja holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Economics from the University of Santo Tomas. She is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Degree in Business Management at the Asian Institute of Management and a Global Master of Business Administration at the University of Western Australia through the AIM-UWA Dual Degree Program.
Atty. Kyra Kae B. Diola has been serving as the Assistant Corporate Secretary of PT&T Corp. since February 2023. She is a corporate lawyer with a strong legal foundation and extensive expertise in corporate law, tax structuring, and regulatory compliance.
Her core competencies include corporate structuring and taxation, mergers and acquisitions, legal due diligence, as well as customs and tax advisory. She has successfully handled tax assessments, refund claims, and represented clients before the Court of Appeals, trial courts, and various quasi-judicial bodies—spanning industries such as telecommunications, manufacturing, and financial services.
Prior to joining PT&T, Atty. Diola honed her legal and tax advisory skills at leading professional services firms. She worked as Assistant Tax Manager at Isla Lipana & Co. and as Senior Legal Advisor at Cabrera & Co., both member firms of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where she managed complex cross-border transactions and high-stakes regulatory engagements.
Atty. Diola earned her Law degree from San Beda College – Manila and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2017.
