Financial Planning Analyst

Key Contributions:

  • The Financial Planning Analyst is directly responsible for assisting management in assessing the profitability of different projects and ventures. This includes identifying and conducting the necessary research and analyses required, as well as completing tasks as needed.
  • The person will also analyze the business case of potential investments and provide analytical support to Group Heads.

On a Typical Workday, You Will:

  • Develop financial models that will help in the formulation of strategic plans, initiatives, and long-term financial projections.
  • Develop long-term financial projections (P&L statements and cash flows) for company valuation.
  • Generate financial statements and Investment/Return/Profitability metrics from the financial models and run simulations and scenario analysis.
  • Prepare bi-weekly dashboard reports to aid in management decisions, as well as challenge and validate inputs from business leaders on important decisions impacting business performance.
  • Assist in conducting reviews on existing business control points and processes that directly impact the company’s financial status.
  • Lead the budget planning by managing the planning exercise in coming up with annual corporate budget

What Will Make You a Fit for this Role:

  • Completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management Engineering, Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or the equivalent
  • With working experience in developing and evaluating business plans
  • With at least (1) year of work experience in a strategy, corporate planning, or business development role
  • Relevant work experience in consulting, investment banking, investing, or equity research preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant and/or Chartered Financial Analyst is an advantage
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.)
