What is the estimated time for restoring a service interruption?

PT&T’s service level agreement is within 24 hours. Our restoration team will provide an estimated time of restoration based on the severity of the cause of outage.

Why does the connection and Wi-Fi signal fluctuate in different parts of the home?

There are multiple factors affecting Wi-Fi signal coverage. The most common reason for intermittent connection is obstruction around the modem or objects that surround it, which can limit the Wi-Fi’s reach. It is recommended to place the modem at least 5 feet above the ground or near the ceiling to enhance the connection’s range.

How many devices can I connect to the Wi-Fi?

There is no limit on how many devices can be connected to the Wi-Fi. However, as the number of devices increases, the speed of the internet connection slows down due to bandwidth utilization.

How can I change my Wi-Fi username and password?

I subscribed to 10 Mbps, but the speed test doesn’t show 10 Mbps. Why?

If Wi-Fi is enabled, the distance from the Wi-Fi source can affect its performance. Test the internet speed through wired connectivity to verify the current speed. Try rebooting the modem. If issues persist, directly connect your laptop/desktop to the PT&T modem using a LAN cable, ensuring no other equipment like routers or switches are attached. This will help confirm the speed.

What should I do if the modem status is showing an LOS Red indicator?

LOS indicator indicates that your internet connection may be unstable or completely disconnected. In such cases, we recommend starting with basic troubleshooting steps: rebooting the modem and unplugging the cables for 30-45 seconds before re-plugging them. How can I upgrade my current internet connection speed?
